Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan better known as Sundar Picha, is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai earned his diploma in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He earned an M.S. in the United States after relocating to the United States. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering . He then earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in which he was awarded the Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a material engineer. After a brief time at McKinsey and Co. as a management consultant, Pichai was hired by Google in 2004 as the head of the innovation and product management for several Google's clients products. These comprised ChromeOS and ChromeOS. Additionally, he managed Google Drive. He also oversees the creation of Google Maps, Gmail, and other applications. Pichai made public in 2010 that Google had made the video codec VP8 available to the public and also announced WebM which is a brand new video format. In 2012, the Chromebook was launched. In 2013 Pichai included Android to the list of Google products he oversees.
